AI as Medical Device – Stakeholder Engagement Workshop

The Christabel Pankhurst Institute and Translation Manchester at The University of Manchester, in collaboration with the Translational Research Office at University College London and the Clinical AI Interest Group, are organising a stakeholder engagement workshop on AI as a Medical Device to develop a new roadmap for inclusion in the Pankhurst Health Technology Translation Toolkit. The Pankhurst Health Technology Translation Toolkit is an interactive web-based toolkit to support academics, industry professionals and NHS staff in navigating the translation of health technologies, such as software as a medical device, non-invasive medical devices, and implantable/invasive medical devices, from research towards patient benefit. Who should attend? Together with Hardian Health Limited, we have developed a draft for an AI as Medical Devices roadmap to be added to the toolkit. This workshop is intended for professionals from research, healthcare, industry, regulatory, and innovation background. The purpose of the workshop will be to review our AI as Medical Devices roadmap and provide feedback to help shape its development and its inclusion in the Pankhurst Health Technology Translation Toolkit (Pankhurst Health Technology Translation Toolkit).
