About
Abstract: Our movements carry information about what we intend, decide, and feel. How is this information encoded, and how do others read it out? I present a framework for quantifying the information encoded in movement and measure how observers use it to read mental states. I discuss what this reveals about human mindreading, social difficulties, and communication between humans and machines.
