Dmitri Shostakovich String Quartet No. 1 in C major, Opus 49 Philip Grange Bobok for String Quartet and Positive Organ Beethoven String Quartet in F major, Opus 59 No. 1 Razumovsky Pre-concert performance by Kalina Balalaika Ensemble at 6.30pm The Kalina Balalaika Ensemble is part of The Manchester Balalaika Society. A group which fosters musical development, cultural exchange, and social connection. Members enjoy opportunities to perform individually and as part of ensembles, sharing the vibrant sounds of Eastern European folk music with audiences in Manchester and further afield.
